The Tethered Diagnostic

Find out exactly what you're paying for.

In one week we work out what your software really costs, which parts you actually use, where AI could take work off your team, and what it would cost to replace just those. You get a one-page plan with a fixed price. It all starts with a free 20–30 minute call.

One week · one page · no obligation

One week. One page. A fixed price for what you actually need.

If you go ahead with us within 90 days, the $500 comes off the build. If you don't, the plan is still yours. Take it to anyone.

What we need from you:

  • One 60–90 minute kickoff call
  • View-only access or a screen-share tour
  • Your last 3 months of platform or agency invoices
How to start
Free intro call

20–30 minutes. Tell us what you use and what’s frustrating. If the $500 diagnostic is worth doing, we’ll explain what it covers and schedule it. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.

What it covers

Six things you'll know by the end of the week.

What you really pay

Every subscription in scope, added up honestly: the plan, the add-ons, the per-text and per-email charges, and any agency fee on top.

What you actually use

Feature by feature, from how your team really works. Not the sales page.

What we'd build instead

The replacement in plain language: what it does, where AI could take work off your team, where it runs, and what you'd own outright, from your Stripe account to your phone numbers and your data.

What you'd save

A fixed price for the build, an estimate for looking after it, what you'd save and when the build pays for itself.

What we wouldn't replace

Said plainly. Sometimes the honest answer is “keep this part.” A diagnostic that always recommends a build is a sales pitch.

Who looks after it

We look after it for you, or hand it over with a plain-English manual. Both options are estimated in the plan.

The one-page plan

What you get back, always in this shape.

Delivered as a PDF and walked through on a call.

How it runs

One week, start to finish.

Free intro call

20–30 minutes. If a diagnostic makes sense, we schedule it.

Kickoff call

60–90 minutes on how you work and what’s frustrating. We arrange access.

Review week

We work out what you use and what it costs, design the replacement and price the build.

Plan delivery

We walk you through the one-pager and the fixed price. No pressure.

Example

A home-services business on an agency platform.

Paying an agency $297 a month for a platform account used for card-on-file billing, failed-payment texts, appointment reminders and a customer list. Add a couple of add-ons, texting and email charges, and a $1,000 setup fee spread over two years, and a typical month comes to about $420, or just over $5,000 a year.

Illustrative, built from published rates. Your diagnostic replaces these numbers with your actual ones.

The terms, plainly

  • $500 flat, agreed after a free intro call.
  • The full $500 comes off any build started within 90 days.
  • Plan delivered within one week of the kickoff call and access.
  • The plan is yours. Build with us, with someone else, or not at all.
  • Covers the software and processes agreed at kickoff. It's a review and a plan, not a build.
